Farrah started dancing when she was 8 years old at Scottish Dance Theatre’s children’s classes and is now studying Contemporary Dance at The Scottish School of Contemporary Dance. This is her second year with the National Youth Dance Company of Scotland.

Farrah said: “NYDCS has made me think in a much more open-minded way.“Things that I thought were physical impossibilities for my body and mind have become accessible, altering both my movement and creative vocabulary.“In the future I would like to dance professionally with a touring company, performing experimental works that take you elsewhere from the world we live in. NYDCS will help me have the confidence, creativity and physical endurance to achieve this goal.”

Farrah will now join 11 other dancers to work with Anna Kenrick over the coming months. Sessions will initially take place online and follow official Covid-19 guidelines.
