The BBC’s Songs of Praise comes to Fife this weekend.

Sunday’s episode of the popular series, entitled Faith in the Kingdom of Fife, sees Katherine Jenkins visit Dunfermline Abbey.

She hears the story of the 11th-century abbey’s royal founder Saint Margaret of Scotland.

During the half hour episode teachers and pupils from Dunferline High School talk about an art and audio-visual project they’re undertaking in the city’s abbey as part of its 950th anniversary celebrations.

The Songs of Praise episode filmed in Fife will be shown on BBC One at 12.25pm on Sunday, November 6 and will also be available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
