Time is running out to vote for Kirkcaldy’s Cottage Family Centre in the Persimmon Homes Building Futures fund.

The Cottage is the only Fife charity in the running to potentially win a top prize of £100,000.

But in order to make it to the top three, it needs as many votes as possible.

Pauline Buchan, strategic manager said: “We want to thank everyone who has been clicking for the Cottage and voting regularly to help us get closer to that top prize.

“Some of our supporters have been setting alarms on their phone to remind them to vote every 24 hours and have even been voting on their phone, ipad, laptop or computer to help us – once again they’ve really risen to the challenge.

“It would mean such a lot to the vulnerable families across Kirkcaldy we support if we won the money – lockdown hasn’t been easy on anyone, especially the vulnerable people in our communities who are already living in poverty.

“With Christmas coming up and added financial burdens caused by the last few months, the support we give is even more vital now.

“It only takes a few minutes to vote, but the money will make a lifetime of difference.”

Vote for the Cottage on as many different devices as you like, once every 24 hours by clicking the link below, selecting the Cottage Family Centre and voting.

Sharing on social media will also help widen the reach too.
