Fife man launches ‘Beef’s Bakery’ to support key workers
Graeme Cunningham, known to his friends as ‘Beef’, has been baking cakes, tray bakes, scones and much more in his kitchen, and then giving out his treats to key workers and people in the area.
The videos, which started out as “just a laugh”, are now watched by hundreds of folk every week, as viewers get the chance to watch Graeme bake and enjoy his colourful aprons – people have even sent him ones to wear.
“It’s just a bit of fun,” Mr Beef said.

Graeme came up with the idea after the lockdown began, after he was furloughed from his role as a painter and decorator with the Links Trust, and nominated five friends to also take part.
NHS staff at the hospital, firemen, Gibson House and pensioners are among the people to have benefitted from the amateur bakery.
Now hundreds of people watch every video, suggesting his next recipes. Graeme said it is “unbelievable” how popular have become.

Despite burning a few of his products, Graeme said he might carry on baking in the future.
“I think I’ll miss it when I go back to work,” he said.
“I’ve really enjoyed doing it.”
