Fife parents welcome New Year's Day baby

A Fife couple had a very special start to the New Year when they welcomed their newborn baby into the world.

Proud parents Morgan, 30, and Brett, 32, from Windygates, met their baby boy, who weighed 7lb 8oz at 09.02am this morning.

Morgan and Brett have named their son Guy Ted Halley.

A spokesman for NHS Fife said he is the only New Year’s baby to be born in Fife so far.

The special delivery comes after two couples in the Kingdom welcomed newborn babies at Christmas.
