Fife piper wins wedding award
Paul Webster, known as the St Andrews Piper, said it was “brilliant” to win the award, the first he has won.
“It came as a shock because there are a lot of pipers in Scotland,” he said.

Hide AdPaul took his son, Jack, to the awards, as he is currently learning the bagpipes as a member of the City of St Andrews Pipe Band.
Paul has been playing the bagpipes since he was nine years old, as a member of the Boys’ Brigade.
He now plays weddings, functions, corporate events and birthdays, as well as doing work for the University of St Andrews and local golf tour companies.
“I’m really busy in the St Andrews area,” Paul said. “I was happy to be nominated by the people who have booked me.”
