Fife residents have been offered the chance to earn their local care home a festive boost as SPAR Scotland launches its Christmas voucher giveaway.

The retailer is giving away 10 vouchers worth £100 each to help bring a little bit of seasonal cheer to local care homes across Fife and the rest of the country.

In a recent social media post Spar Scotland said the community is at the heart of everything it does, and that it takes pride in supporting the local areas it serves throughout the year.

Saying it wanted to give back during the festive season, the retailer described Christmas as a time for togetherness, warmth and looking out for one another.

Members of the public can nominate their local care home by emailing [email protected].

Entries close on Friday, November 27.
