Fife woman wins £110,000 online bingo jackpot from £3 stake

The woman won her jackpot playing online at Meccabingo.com.

Identified only as 50-year-old Sylvia, she had only been playing online since the start of lockdown, and couldn’t believe her beginner’s luck.

Having overcome the initial surprise of the win, the Dunfermline resident plans to spend some of the winnings on getting her motorhome resprayed, as well as landscaping her garden.

She has also treated her grandson to a new trampoline, and would love to spend some of it exploring more of Scotland and seeing the Northern Lights.

Sylvia said: “I really never thought this would happen to me, I’m still in shock! After I won I put a post on my Facebook and my friends and family couldn’t believe it - not even my husband thought I was telling the truth until I showed him the balance on the screen.

“You never think you will ever win such a life-changing amount of money.”
