Hilary used to visit the area frequently while out walking.
“It’s something we talked about before she died,” said Gary Marshall, who married Hilary four months before her death.
“She used to walk through there with her dog, Gypsy.
“Hilary said if she had it her way she would have gone down the Eden in a boat and have it set on fire.
“She was a bit if a rocket herself sometimes.”

Hilary was just 48 when she died from cancer in July.
She ran a local business and was a presence in the town centre for 16 years, and was an active member of the community, volunteering as a retained firefighter for two decades.
Hilary, who grew up in the town, owned and ran the Print & Stationery Office on Crossgate for around a decade and was a member of local business association ABCD.
She was also a dedicated SNP supporter, supporting independence.
The event will be held at the course on March 27, starting at 6.30pm.
