Former Kirkcaldy linen weaving factory to become residential development
Former council offices in the heart of Kirkcaldy are to be turned into a new residential development.
Forth House on Abbotshall Road is to be converted into 32 flats and one house.

Hide AdPlans were approved by Fife Council this week for the long-established building which was once home to many local authority departments.
It marks the continued development of the area with a new gym set to open on the site of former Norman Rollo car showroom, adjacent to Forth House.
Forth House building dates back to 1860 and was a former linen weaving factory, built by the Jeffrey family.
Despite its history, it is not listed.
It has been empty since the council vacated the premises, and work will now begin on its conversion.

Hide AdWork will including raising internal roof heights, installing new windows and doors, external alterations, and the building of five affordable homes in its grounds.
