Free activities for families across Fife this summer
Families across Fife can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, making it easy to find something to do close to home.
And the best thing is, they're all free!
The following activities will be available: Golf, tennis, bowls, volleyball, archery, orienteering, boccia, sports fitness circuit, cycling

Hide Adand people can book one hour sessions - Monday to Friday from 10am – 4pm.
These can be booked online at www.fife.gov.uk/activefamilies
Activities are available on a rotational basis and some will change each week at each location, giving everyone the chance to try something new. The centres are: South West Fife - Inverkeithing High School / Oakley Community Centre; Dunfermline - Dunfermline High School; Cowdenbeath - Lochore Meadows; Glenrothes - Lomond Centre; Kirkcaldy - Windmill Community Campus; Levenmouth - Levenmouth Academy and
North East Fife - Waid Community Campus.
Paul Vaughan, head of communities and neighbourhoods said: “We want to encourage everyone to become more active and enjoy physical activity, sport and leisure.

Hide Ad“The active families programme, along with Fife Cycle park will allow this to happen in a fun and safe environment, using some of our green space across Fife.
"We encourage families to take part in these activities and look forward to welcoming them back to our outdoor spaces, but we’d also like to remind everyone to continue observing physical distancing, regular hand washing, and use a common sense approach.”
Fife Cycle Park will also re-open from July 15.
To help support families during the summer, activities at the park will be free during the school holidays. More details on how to book activities will be available soon.
