Development officer Janine Norris said: “The coronavirus has reduced our income and ability to fundraise in our normal way, while at the same time, driven up demand for our services.

“There is a huge crisis to manage, but we also need to begin preparing for what’s coming. The impact Covid-19 will have in the future is immeasurable, but we know there will be more families affected by unemployment, mental health and the breakdown of relationships.

“The Muirhead Outreach Project will be ready and accepting referrals as soon as it is safe to do so. The money raised from this crowd-funding project will be key in achieving sustainability in an extraordinary and uncertain time.”
