The long established annual event celebrated the work done by licensed premises in providing safe, welcoming, well run establishments - and the role they play in the community.
For the first time, the event was moved from police headquarters in Glenrothes, with The Duchess pub in Kirkcaldy hosting invitees from around 40 premises along with special guests.
Fife’s Best Bar None scheme is second only to Glasgow in terms of participating venues – the west coast city was the first to launch the awards which are open to the hospitality industry who sign up to support its aims.
Chief Superintendent John Anderson welcomed guests and made the presentations to the winners. He paid tribute to the venues which support so many local community groups and charities, and open their doors to a wide range of fundraising events.
