Kirkcaldy Lottery unveils date of first ever Super Draw as businesses rally to donate prizes

Kirkcaldy’s new lottery has unveiled its first Super Draw on the back of a hugely successful launch.

Twelve local businesses have put their hands in their pockets to show their support for this latest initiative which takes place later this month. They have donated a dozen prizes that will be given away on Saturday, October 26.

The very first Super Draw provides additional prizes in the form of vouchers that can be used locally, in addition to the regular cash prizes. There is no need to enter separately - if you have your numbers for the Kirkcaldy Lottery you will automatically be entered into the Super Draw. You can sign-up at www.kirkcaldylottery.co.uk

“The people of Kirkcaldy are supporting the lottery, and they in turn support our local independent businesses. The lottery will be supporting community projects in Kirkcaldy and it is starting to feel like a renaissance of the community spirit with everyone supporting each other - something that Kirkcaldy has perhaps been lacking in recent years is returning”

The Super Draw will be followed by an open day on November 2 at K107’s base in the Mercat Shopping Centre. It will run from 10:00am until 5:00pm during which time everyone is welcome to drop in for a chat and to give their views on how the lottery fund should be used to improve the town.

There will be an ideas box and also assistance for anyone that wishes to sign up. The event will include a short presentation on what is planned and what is being considered.
