Peter, who has previously cleared other areas littered with rubbish in Kirkcaldy is aiming to clear the field in Ailsa Grove.

Peter said: "we were meant to tackle this field during last month's litter picking event, but sadly time got ahead of us and we had to leave it.

“I’ve lived in the area for 24 years now and even though I’m moving out of the area this week, I'm still passionately committed to keeping the fields in the area litter and rubbish free.”

If you would like to volunteer to help with this weekend’s litter pick, Peter will be gathering with volunteers at the bus stop in Ailsa Grove, Kirkcaldy at 11.50am this Saturday.

Volunteers will need to provide their own litter pickers, bin bags and masks.
