Kirkcaldy trainee recognised in Scotland-wide awards


A Kirkcaldy trainee has been recognised in a top competition.
Reiss Gordon, 20, was runner-up in the land-based engineering learner of the year at Lantra Scotland’s ALBAS (Awards for Land-based and Aquaculture Skills), which took place on Thursday.
Reiss has been doing an SVQ Level 3 in land-based engineering at Netherton Tractors, through SRUC Oatridge.

Employers, colleges, trainees and their families joined the online events hosted by Liz Barron-Majerik, director of Lantra Scotland, and Jim Smith, well-known Perthshire farmer and stand-up comedian.
