Man (20) dies after getting into difficulty swimming at Fife beauty spot

A man has died after getting into difficulty after going swimming at a Fife park.

The 20-year old was taken to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, where he passed away.

Police Scotland confirmed emeregency services were called to Lochore Meadows on Saturday evening in response to reports of a man in difficulties in the water.

The incident happened around 6:00pm.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews also attended the scene.
