Man dies after emergency incident at Fife park
A man has died after a large-scale emergency incident at a Fife park yesterday.
Emergency services were on the scene at Riverside Park in Glenrothes, where a man had fallen into the River Leven.
Police have confirmed that the man has died.
The alarm was raised at around 10.20am on Thursday morning, with the Scottish Air Ambulance and Scottish Fire and Rescue also involved in the incident.
A police Scotland Spokesperson said: “We can confirm that the body of a man was recovered from the River Leven in Glenrothes following the search.”
