Man killed in early morning incident on Fife road

The fatality happened around 2.20am on Sunday on the A915 Largo Road when a car struck a pedestrian.

Police said the 59-year old was pronounced dead at the scene.His identity has not yet been released.

The driver of the car, a 22-year old, was not injured.

Police closed the road for several hours as investigations got underway.

An appeal has now been made for any witnesses to come forward or anyone who may have dash cam footage from that time.

Police have also asked locals to check any CCTV footage they may have at their homes.
