Mixed fortunes for Sots singers bidding to make semi-finals of ITV's The Voice
There were mixed fortunes for two Scottish singers on The Voice as one progressed to the semi-finals and the other missed out.
The 22-year-old took on James Robb in The Battles as the duo dovetailed superbly.
Expressing his gratitude to his team leader in a Facebook post, he wrote: “Thank you so much, Anne-Marie.
“Words can’t express how much I appreciate all the support. On to the semi-finals.”
However, fellow Falkirk district singer-songwriter Cameron Ledwidge bowed out of the competition following his performance of Beautiful People alongside Leona Jørgensen.
The Denny 18-year-old tweeted: “This is just the beginning.
“The Voice has brought me amazing new friends and has opened my eyes to a world that feels right for me.
“Time to work hard and make a difference on the journey from the small town to the global stages.”
