2020 has been a challenging year for everyone with the start of the coronavirus pandemic, lockdown and restrictions that followed which underlined that there is an ever more need for each other to be connected digitally to combat the effects of social-isolation.

With this in mind, the Fife Free Press and Glenrothes Gazette have created a new community Facebook group for Glenrothes.

Glenrothes Connected was created by Darren Gibb, Community News Reporter, whose aim is to provide a platform to those who feel that they are under-represented within the community. It will focus on stories that matter to local people in the area.

People and groups in Glenrothes, Markinch, Leslie, Coaltown of Balgonie, Woodside, Star of Markinch, Milton of Balgonie, Kinglassie, and Balfarg are all welcome to join, and share any upcoming events and services that they offer.
