The project was started by co-founders Justyna Majewska and Ewa Rogos-Chuchro three years ago and aims to promote the power of Polish women in Fife and ultimately the whole of Scotland.

The group’s goal is to strengthen members’ mental health and to help build their self-esteem especially while living abroad without close family around to offer support.

Justyna, who also owns her own yoga business, said: “Initially, we wanted to create events where Polish women from around Scotland could meet, talk and encourage themselves.

"However, the whole project took an amazing direction, and we now also deliver workshops, retreats, challenges and support groups in Fife, starting from women circles to cold swimming groups.

“Before Covid, we organised self-development workshops and retreats in Scotland and Portugal, with professionals from a variety of backgrounds, which were transformational for many of our members.

"Lockdown restrictions have meant we have had to transform our work and move online.

"Ewa and I have moved forward with the goal to inspire and support the Polish women community, despite the circumstances, because this is the time when women need us the most!

As well as supporting members with mental health and self-esteem issues, Justyna and Ewa offer numerous activities, classes and fitness advice.

“We have prepared lots of various activities for the Polish community, such as the Empowerment Course straight from Lanzarote,” she adds. “We also offer a one-month online Bootcamp, which is full of motivation, fitness and changing lifestyle challenges. All of these courses are prepared in cooperation with fitness instructors and specialists.

"We also have yoga classes and business meetings that all boost everyone’s energy not only from a health point of view but also from an entrepreneurship side.

“Our members also ran for Maggie’s Centre back in February. It was amazing to see the effort and happiness in their eyes.

“Every year, we are growing and growing. Helping others is in our roots and we have heads full of ideas that we hope to come true!”
