Pair of Fife neighbours win Postcode Lottery cash

Two Leven neighbours are celebrating after winning £1000 each thanks to their postcode.

The residents of Dewar Drive netted the cash when KY8 4JD was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People's Postcode Lottery on Monday, May 25.

Danyl Johnson, People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador sent well wishes to the winners.

He said: “What a great surprise to start your week! Congratulations to our winners.”

The pair are the most recent Fife residents to win cash in the draw.

Earlier this month three people in Kirkcaldy’s Chapel Road and four neighbours in Cumbrae Park, Glenrothes each scooped £1000.

Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond, with a minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales going directly to charities.

Monday’s draw was promoted by Ramblers which has received over £8.8 million in funding through the People’s Postcode Lottery to help look after the paths and green spaces of Great Britain and to work to create happier, healthier communities.
