The cast of Ya Wee Sleeping Beauty performed the honours, and entertainment included carol singing, a candy cane rail and a live screening of Home Alone in an outdoor cinema.
The afternoon - dubbed Kirkcaldy’s Christmas Spot Lights – tied in with the ‘Merry Merchants Christmas’ launched by traders in the east end.
