Police appeal as friends increasingly concerned for missing Fife man

Police have launched a search for a missing man in Fife.

James Grant was last seen on Saturday morning in the Cupar area.

Police said the whereabouts of the 39-year old are unknown.

Friends and family are becoming increasingly concerned for him.

Launching a public appeal for information, Sergeant Paul Hunter from Cupar Police Station, said: “James has been missing for a number of hours now and his friends and family are understandably concerned for his welfare.

“We have a number of police resources looking for James at the moment and I am appealing for assistance from the public”.

James was last seen about 9:00 am n Saturday. He is known to walk significant distances or utilise public transport.

James is described as 5 ft 7, slim build with shoulder length blonde/fair hair.

He was wearing a cream jacket, red T-Shirt, blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms and blue trainers.
