The 35-year old may have been in the wooded areas of Heathery Wood on the outskirts of Kirkcaldy.

Keith was last seen in Overton Mains, Kirkcaldy, around 3:00 pm on Friday afternoon.

Officers are searching the area, and working with taxi, bus and train companies in a bid to find him.

He is described as white, 6 ft 1, skinny build, with cropped strawberry blond hair.

He was last seen wearing an orange Rangers FC top, a rain jacket, denim jeans, Adidas trainers and was carrying a black Puma rucksack.

Sergeant Chris McGlinchey, Dalgety Bay Police Station, said: “We believe that Keith may have been in a wooded area of Heathery Wood, Kirkcaldy on Thursday or Friday.

“Officers have been searching the area as well as checking with family and friends, however, unfortunately, no one has seen or heard from him since yesterday afternoon.

"We are keen to trace Keith to make sure he is safe and well and would appeal to members of the public to look out for him.
