Police update on body found on Kirkcaldy beach

The discovery of a body on the beach in Kirkcaldy at the weekend is not being treated as suspicious.

The discovery was made on Sunday morning.

It resulted in park of the Esplanade being cordoned off.

According to police, the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Around 10.25am on Sunday July 14 police attended Esplanade, Kirkcaldy following the discovery of a body in the beach area.”
