Positive COVID test linked to Kirkcaldy High School

NHS Fife has confirmed that an individual with links to Kirkcaldy High School has tested positive for COVID-19.

They are isolating at home with other household members.

NHS Fife said that while there is no evidence of transmission within the school, a small number of pupils have been identified as contacts.

They have been contacted individually and asked to self-isolate for 14 days as a precautionary measure.

Anyone who develops any of the established symptoms of the virus, such as a fever; or a loss or change in taste or smell; or a new and continuous cough, should arrange testing using the UK Government Citizens’ Portal
