From Falkland Palace to going underground at Rothes Colliery to a trip tp the Kingdom Shopping Centre in Glenrothes, the Duke of Edinburgh saw many sides to Fife during a number of visits over the decades.
He first came to the Kingdom in 1958, and returned with the Queen on several occasions, meeting civic leaders as well as local people.
