Punk legend Fay Fife offers fans a live gig in their own home in album fundraiser

Punk legend Fay Fife is offering fans the chance of a live gig in their home as part of a new album fundraiser.

The Edinburgh-based lead singer of legendary Scottish band, The Rezillos, also fronts the Countess Of Fife.

They have launched a £5000 online fundraising campaign with a host of benefits to supporters - including the offer of a private gig in your own home once all COVID restrictions have lifted.

The four-piece band have committed to a new album scheduled for the summer of 2021.

Their online fundraiser has already hit its first £1000 mark thanks to a growing number of fans.

The Countess of Fife have gigged across Scotland over the past four years, and played one of the last live shows before lockdown in March when they appeared at the Cash Back In Fife festival held in the Woodside Hotel, Aberdour.

The event celebrated the Man In Black’s historic roots with the Kingdom and was put together by Edinburgh based singer-songwriter Dean Owens, and also featured Ian Rankin and Rab Noakes.

Since lockdown, the band has had to re-think its album plans, but has worked out a way to record the tracks while meeting all guidelines.In return for donations from £10 to £500 and over, fans can get merchandising, their name on the credits, and a chance to welcome them into their homes for a unique live gig.The Countess of Fife have promised “a full band house concert” for fans chipping on £500 or more - plus an exclusive livestream concert and conversation with Fay and lead guitarist Allan McDowall.
