Police searching for a 71-year Fife man in poor health reported missing overnight say he has been found safe and well.

Robert Latto was last seen around 8:00pm on Thursday (October 13) in the Woodside Road area of Glenrothes.

His family and friends were concerned for his wellbeing.

Following an appeal, police said last night he had been traced safe and well.

They thanked everyone who shared their appeal via social media.
