Santa doing socially-distanced tour around Fife town

Santa, his Covid-19-safe sleigh and helpers from Cupar Rotary will be travelling around Cupar and the surrounding communities again this year – with just a few changes from his usual routine.

He is determined not to let children of all ages down, so he will tour the area at walking pace without stopping off for photographs, but will give everyone a wave from a safe distance.

Until December 18, the sleigh will run from 6-7.30pm and will be highly visible from windows and gardens, so that there is no need for public gatherings to view Santa.

Because of the pandemic, Santa’s elves will not be calling at doors with collecting cans for local good causes. Instead, Cupar Rotary invite the public to make donations by texting SANTACUPAR to 70085 to give a donation.

Full details giving up to date details of where and when to look out for Santa will be provided on the Cupar Rotary Facebook events page.
