The Anstruther mumseum’s latest podcast series, Anchored: Marine life in lockdown, looks at the affect the pandemic has had on maritime industries.

This podcast series is the second from the Anstruther based national museum – the first being Sea Change, looking at the future of our seas. This future has, however, been hit by something completely unforeseen: a global pandemic.

In future episodes listeners will be hearing from director of Fisheries Innovation Scotland, Kara Brydson. As well as staff at the Firth of Forth Lobster Hatchery and more.

So far, the podcast has covered the lockdown’s effect on conservation efforts, the catching and selling industries and has spoken about seafood with Seafood Scotland, fish mongering expert CJ Jackson and chef Jak O’Donnell.
