Is this the spookiest house in Fife?

A Leven couple have turned their home into a Halloween house of horrors – and are raising funds for a good cause.

Vicki Bell and Greg Williams have filled their front garden with skeletons, zombies, ghouls and anything else that might give passers-by a fright.

And all their work has been for a good cause, raising funds for Ward 31 at the Victoria Hospital.

“My gran passed away this year and she was in that ward,” said Vicki.

“They were amazing for her and cared for her in her final few days.”

With many Halloween events unable to go ahead this year because of Covid-19, the couple wanted to make sure that local children were able to have something to smile about at the spookiest time of the year.

“There has been such a good reaction,” said Vicki.

“It’s been such a massive hit. It’s been great to see the smiles on the kids’ faces. There’s nothing on for them this year.

“It’s been worth it.”

“We’ve managed to raise quite a bit of money already. My initial goal was £100. It’s been so popular we had to make a Facebook page just for the house.”

For those who want to see the spooky home, it can be found on Linnwood Drive.
