Teenager dies after Fife road crash

A teenager has died following a one-vehicle crash in Fife.

The 18-year old pedestrian sustained serious injuries and could not be saved.,

The incident happened at Little Balquhomrie Farm, on the outskirts of Leslie shortly after 11:00am.

Police Scotland said an 18-year old woman has been arrested in connection with the crash.

A spokesman said: “Police were called around 11.10am following the report of a one-vehicle road crash involving a car and pedestrian at Little Balquhomrie Farm, Glenrothes.

Emergency services attended and an 18-year-old man who had suffered serious injuries was pronounced dead at the scene.”
