The search is on to find the little girl who had her camera fixed by Prince Philip on a royal visit to Fife.

Pictures from our archive reveal the way the late Duke of Edinburgh helped a youngster capture a souvenir of his visit.

It happened in October 1976 when he visited the Kingdom Shopping Centre in Glenrothes.

He paused, took it and quickly solved the issue.

We’d love to hear from the girl or anyone in the picture who remembers the moment - and give you a copy of our own photographs which captured the event.
