Van driver appeal after four-lorry crash on A92

The incident happened around 2.50pm on Wednesday on the eastbound carriageway between Cowdenbeath and Lochgelly.

The lorries had to take evasive action near the interchange of the A909.

One man suffered leg injuries,

The 55-year old was taken to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, for treatment,

Sergeant Nicola Young of Fife Road Policing Unit, said: “We are eager to trace the driver of a white Mercedes Sprinter van which was travelling in an eastbound direction at the time of the crash to help with our investigation into the full circumstances of what happened.

“We are also appealing for any dash-cam footage of the incident or the white Mercedes van.”

The crash brought traffic to a standstill as police closed the eastbound carriageway for over an hour.
