People across the UK and beyond stepped out at 6pm tonight to ring the bells for Christmas

Many people stood outside their homes and ‘jingled all the way’ to celebrate Christmas after what has been a tough year for everyone.

The aim is that in future kids will be able to look back with warm memories of the festive season that marked the end of 2020.

Among them was Lauren Sinclair, along with family and friends, who rang their bells and sang along.

Lauren, from Falkirk, created the Facebook page ‘Worldwide Santas Christmas Eve Jingle’ back in October, with the goal of spreading cheer and “keeping Christmas alive”.
