Hannah Visocchi (24), originally from Largoward, created The Show Will Go On project with two friends as a way to help adults and children alike pass the time being spent staying indoors during the current lockdown.
The book was written by Hannah and Caleb Hughes, from London, who is an actor and graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and illustrated by Joe Bloom, from, London who is a graduate of Glasgow School of Art.

“It’s a heart-warming story of a blossoming friendship between two young children and an elderly neighbour, and a nod to the power of community, which is something that’s even more relevant now.”
Like many others in the entertainment industry, Hannah’s burgeoning career has been put on hold by the Covid-19 emergency.
Last year she performed with the National Theatre in a new David Hare production of the Ibsen classic Peer Gynt, which also played at the Edinburgh International Festival, and was mid-tour with a Vanishing Point production of Kafka’s, The Metamorphosis, when the lockdown measures were introduced.

She added: “Please feel free to share the colouring story book with your friends and family, and send us in pictures of your completed books. We’d love to make our website prettier and colourful with some of your pages.
“People should send any drawings to [email protected], or use the hashtag #showwillgoon and maybe they will see them on our website soon!”
The colouring story book is free to download from www.theshowwillgoon.club, although there is an option to make a recommended donation which will go to the charity Age UK.
