Crowds flocked to Dunnikier Park on Sunday afternoon as the second ever country fair was held.
The event offered the local community a variety of family friendly activities with something for everyone.
Among the activities taking place were bouncy castles, food stalls, a tombola and stalls hosted by community organisations including Greener Kirkcaldy and Fife Coast and Countryside Trust.
There was a falconry display and performances from Kirkcaldy Twirlers and Love2Dance dancers.
Senior pupils from Kirkcaldy High School hosted a mini Olympic games style event, while Dunnikier Golf Club staged a competition for aspiring young golfers. Local radio station K107 provided music for the afternoon.
Kirkcaldy MSP David Torrance did the honours of opening Sunday’s event. He said: “This was a really good event which was bigger than last year. It was good to see so many local groups participating in the fair.
“The committee have to be congratulated for all their hard work throughout the year, not only on running a very successful event, but in improving the environment in the park and the surrounding areas for the benefit of residents in Kirkcaldy.”
Sue Bennett, chairman of the event’s organising committee, added: “What a great day Sunday was and a big thank you to everyone that took part. Also thanks to all who came despite the weather. All being well the Dunnikier Country Park will be hosting a Fair again next year.”
