Police appeal after break-in at Fife car garage

Police are appealing for witnesses following a break-in to a business property in Fife last weekend.

The incident happened at some point between Saturday, April 9 and Monday, April 11 at the Lochgelly Motor Company in Auchterderran Road, Lochgelly.

Those responsible have taken a number of car keys from the garage and officers are now keen to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area over the weekend, or who has information that can help with their inquiries.

Detective Sergeant Kelly McEwan of Dunfermline CID said: “We are asking anyone who was in or around Auchterderran Road over the weekend to get in touch if they noticed anything suspicious, no matter how small.

“Anyone with information can contact officers on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
