Police appeal after train staff member is verbally abused on Dundee to Edinburgh service

British Transport Police (BTP) are appealing for information about a man who verbally abused a member of train staff on a train travelling between Dundee and Edinburgh recently.

Sometime between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday, January 13 the man – described as being in his late 50s to early 60s, with grey hair and wearing a blue parka-style jacket – is reported to have acted in an anti-social manner towards the male member of staff on the 4.39pm Dyce to Edinburgh Waverley service shortly before it arrived at its destination.

Constable Christopher Sutherland, the BTP officer in charge of the enquiry, is appealing for anyone who was on the train and can assist with enquiries to contact him on 0800 40 50 40 or by texting 61016.
