Police in Kirkcaldy are appealing for information after a man was assaulted on Monday afternoon.

The incident happened around lunchtime on Wilson Avenue. The man sustained a facial injury during the assault and had to receive treatment from the Scottish Ambulance Service.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police in Fife are investigating following an assault in Kirkcaldy.

“The incident occurred on Monday, June 29 at around 2.00 p.m. when a man was attacked in Wilson Avenue. He sustained a facial injury and was treated by the Scottish Ambulance Service.

“Enquiries are currently ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
