Police appeal for missing Cupar man

Police are appealing for information to help trace a 31-year-old man who has gone missing from the Cupar area.

George Stewart was last seen in the Springfield area at noon on Monday by members of staff from the local hospital.

Police are now growing increasingly concerned for Mr Stewart’s welfare and are eager to trace his whereabouts.

He is described as white, slim build, around 5ft 7in tall, and with fair hair.

He is believed to be wearing a blue t-shirt with white writing, blue denim jeans and black training shoes.

Mr Stewart has recently been treated in hospital and may appear confused.

Police are asking residents to check sheds and outhouses to help them find George.

Inspector Stephen Kay said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for George’s welfare and we are appealing to the public for any information regarding his whereabouts.”
