Police appeal to find missing teenager

Police in Fife and Glasgow are appealing for help in tracing a missing 16-year-old boy.

Liam Howie has been reported missing from north east Fife.

Liam was last seen about 11.07pm on Friday having travelled by train from Dundee and arriving at Glasgow Queen Street Train Station. His current whereabouts are unknown and his friends and family are becoming increasingly concerned for him.

Liam is described as white, Scottish and five ft two inches tall. His hair style is described as short and is brown. When last seen, Liam was known to be wearing pale blue jacket (possibly black hooded top beneath), grey tracksuit bottoms, grey Nike trainers and a black rucksack.

Sergeant Ian Moffat from Cupar Police Station said: “Liam has been missing for a number of days now and his friends and family are understandably worried about him. We have a number of Police resources from Fife and Glasgow out looking for Liam and I am now looking for the assistance of the public.”
