Police Scotland has appealed for information to trace a missing Kirkcaldy woman who has not returned from a night out in Edinburgh.

Nineteen-year-old Louise Davidson was last seen outside the Espionage nightclub in the Capital’s Victoria Street at around 4.30am yesterday morning (Tuesday).

It is unlike Louise not to get in contact with friends or family and let them know where she is

However, she not yet made her way back to her home in St Kilda Crescent, Kirkcaldy and concern is now growing for her welfare.

It is believed Louise was heading towards the Underbelly in the Cowgate area of the city and may have been in the company of two men.

Anyone who can assist police in finding her or these individuals is asked to come forward.

Louise is described as white, 5ft 5in tall with long black hair, and green/hazel eyes.

She was last seen wearing light-coloured denim jeans that were ripped at the knee, a cropped black top with the number 21 on the front, black heeled shoes and a black clutch bag.

The two men are described only as being white and wearing tracksuits.

Sergeant Neil McGurk said: “It is unlike Louise not to get in contact with friends or family and let them know where she is and as such we are eager to establish her whereabouts as soon as possible.

“Anyone who believes they have seen her since the early hours of Tuesday morning is asked to contact police immediately.

“We would also urge Louise to get in touch with a family member, friend, or with police to let us know she is safe.”

Those with information can contact Police Scotland on 101.
