Police in Fife are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision yesterday (Tuesday) which left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
The collision occurred on the Standing Stane Road between Kirkcaldy and Windygates at around 6.15pm, and involved a Kawaski motorbike, an Audi A4 and Volkswagen Polo.
The 34-year-old motorbike rider was taken to Victoria Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
The road was reopened around 10.30pm and Police Scotland has thanked motorists for their patience at this time.
Sergeant James Henry, road policing, said: “The biker involved sustained serious injuries and we’re currently working to establish the full circumstances surrounding this collision.
“Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who has any information which can help with our enquiries, is asked to come forward.”
