Police investigate '˜unexplained' death in Glenrothes

Police are investigating after a man was found dead at a property in Glenrothes over the weekend.

The body of a 54-year-old man was found in a property in the town’s Minto Crescent on Saturday morning and officers are currently treating his death as “unexplained”.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police in Fife are investigating the death of a 54-year-old man in Glenrothes.

“The discovery was reported at 9.40am on Saturday (11 June) at a property in Minto Crescent.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained pending further enquiries.”
