Police in Fife are investigating after a substantial amount of cannabis was recovered from a property in Leven yesterday (Tuesday, December 1).
An intelligence-led operation allowed officers to execute a search warrant at the property in North Street.
Officers discovered cannabis plants filling every room of the premises.
Police are keen to trace the tenants of the property and anyone who can assist officers with their ongoing inquiries is asked to come forward.
Inspector Tom Brown from Levenmouth police said: “Thanks to some vital intelligence gathering from the public we were able to remove a significant quantity of illegal drugs from our community.
“As part of our on-going inquiries I would ask anyone with relevant information about regular visitors to the property to contact us at Levenmouth police station.
“We are committed to targeting those who deal in drugs and preventing the harm they cause in our community.”
