Police look for information after flashing incident

POLICE in Levenmouth are appealing for information following an indecent exposure which took place on the beach at Viewforth, Buckhaven, about 3.30pm on Friday July 20.

The man responsible is described as 30-40 years of age, 5’11” and of stocky build. He had dark receding hair and was wearing a blue T-shirt and jogging bottoms. He was of a generally scruffy appearance.

The man approached a group of girls and made inappropriate comments to them before exposing himself. He then walked off in the direction of East Wemyss on the coastal path.

Detective Sergeant Calum Lawrie, who is leading the enquiry, said: “Clearly the actions of this man are concerning and it is important that we trace him as quickly as possible.

“Anyone who has information that might help identify him should contact Fife Constabulary on 0845 600 5702 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where all calls are treated anonymously.

“Any information will be treated in the strictest confidence.”
